Every time I use a screen corner to activate 'show dashboard', plasma crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set a corner via 'screen edges' in kcontrol to 'show dashboard'.
2. Move mouse to that corner.
Actual Results:  
The dashboard does not show.  Sometimes the crash handler shows.  Generally plasma-dekstop restarts, but sometimes not.  Manually restarting is successful, however the same behaviour happens even when restarted.

Expected Results:  
The dashboard would be brought to the foreground.

I submitted this upstream (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205849) and it was suggested this was a downstream problem.

Does this still happen with kde 4.3.5 or 4.4.2?
