I'm pretty sure this is something that upstream did and not a bug due to weird gentoo changes. Please report this issue upstream and paste the URL here, thanks. It was the interface issue in 1.8.x. Double clicking on mouse button in the header of imported text points the column separator (but it's far from being clear, thatis why I've reported tis bug). In Gnumeric 1.9.x is included the wanted red ruler through the text as a guide. The bug in GNOME Bugzilla is: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593771 gnumeric-1.10 which should contain this fix has been commited to the tree a couple of weeks ago. closing. |
