The ebuild introduced in bug 280788 is broken, but I can't reopen it.  The actual distributed tarball from the upstream project is as follows:

I'm not sure how the ebuild even worked as it is - the version is different, and the .tar.bz2 it introduced doesn't exist (nor seems to ever have existed) on any sourceforge or Gentoo mirror.
