Russell has been working on several different packages on our internal overlay at the OSL and I think it would be great to add him as a Gentoo Developer. I'm willing to mentor him through the whole process which shouldn't be hard since he works with me daily.

He's interested in working on (libvirt, ganeti, xen, kvm) and potentially python (django, twisted, etc).

Let me know when/if I can start the process!

Training your recruit and preparing the quizzes you can start right away but there's currently seven unassigned people ahead of Russel in the queue so it will take a while before recruiters can start their part. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Gave it a month with no reply. If still interested have your mentor re-open this with a plan on how to finish.
