If you set the desktop background with xli and have transparency activated in lxpanel, the background of lxpanel is black.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge lxpanel xli
2.xli -onroot /home/X/x.xpm
3.lxpanel
4.configure lxpanel for transparency
5.restart lxpanel
Actual Results:  
Lxpanel background is black.

Expected Results:  
The desktop background image is shining through the panel.

Ok, lxde can set desktop background and transparencies work fine in lxpanel, so do you require any special functionality from this software?

Is this still valid in 0.5.5-r2?
