>sys-fs/udev-141 (=sys-fs/udev-145 available in portage, masked) does not provide libvolume_id any more and hal fails to configure because of that. There is dev-libs/libvolume_id but it's only keyworded for FreeBSD. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unmask and emerge =sys-fs/udev-145 2. Remerge hal Actual Results: The merge fails due to missing libvolume_id Expected Results: The merge completes fine
