I guess it should be set up so libbonobo is pulled on 2.4 emerges and bonobo-activation is pulled on <2.4, but I don't have a good idea for doing it automatically; it's late. well, i just removed it. It should be covered by the libbonoboui dep. Note to the other gnome devs -> we have to start removing bonobo-activation deps on updates/fixes. |
To get 2.4_rc1 to emerge correctly, I did this. Current relevant RDEPEND: >=gnome-base/bonobo-activation-2 This worked: || ( >=gnome-base/bonobo-activation-2 >=gnome-base/libbonobo-2.4 ) I'm not sure where libbonoboui falls into this now.
