there is a new version which is python 2.6 compatible. i've created a diff for a working 1.2.3c1 ebuild. But im not sure how to name it properly. when i name the ebuild dev-python/mysql-python-1.2.3c1.ebuild portage claims: "!!! dev-python/mysql-python-1.2.3c1 does not follow correct package syntax." so i just named the ebuild mysql-python-1.2.3-r1
