Hi cleaners, would you mind doing this in 60 day mask please. I know the autoconf is still masked but we will be happy to fix at least the kde-base/ so if no user will write patch its going to die. Thanks (In reply to comment #2) > Hi cleaners, > would you mind doing this in 60 day mask please. Maybe it's worth commenting for that this is now masked; and 2.0_pre2 is in tree BUT kde's overlay has more up-to-date version of it by reavertm available -> @kde: Please add the updated ebuild in tree for this to be complete. How can you mask 1.x while 2.x requires KDE4 which is STILL not marked stable on Gentoo? (In reply to comment #4) > How can you mask 1.x while 2.x requires KDE4 which is STILL not marked stable > on Gentoo? > The maintainer asked to remove entire package, instead I've masked only the old one and committed a version for KDE4... didn't expect anyone to complain about saving a package. Also, see Comment #2 which is a formal request from the gentoo kde team. That said, if you have a patch to fix all the issues I might commit it Tellico is at 2.0 and old ones removed. > The maintainer asked to remove entire package, instead I've masked only the old

Well, the old one has been removed now. Another update broke my current version and the only way to use it again is upgrading to KDE4... which
is STILL marked unstable...
nod, I can symphatize with your situation but there's no maintainers for KDE3 pkgs. you could help out the KDE team to get KDE4 ready for stabilization instead of "complaining" here about unfunctional KDE3 if you want to be productive. :-) |
