It is impossible to start audio-entropyd-2.0.1 using the current init script and default config file since the option -r (--read-size) is no longer valid.

The config in conf.d is outdated. It suggests device=/dev/dsp, although the new version uses alsa only, and sample-rate=44050, while the upstream default is 11025.

I have also noticed that if RC_PARALLEL_STARTUP="yes" is in effect, then
auidio-entropyd sometimes fails to start complaining about broken pipe.
I have resolved the problem by adding
after alsasound
to the init-script.
