Doesn't look like correct place to mask this. Should likely be in base/package.use.mask instead. Please move it and remove this file.

Samuli, thank you for dropping the bug.  I've ensured hardened profiles are/will be 'ok'.  Would you mind going ahead with this?  I'd rather not touch it if I don't have to.
