not a bug It's clearly a bug and USE="multislot" implementation is broken from PM POV. I'll hopefully submit a patch when I'll be back from vacation. dont use the flag if you dont like it It is not a matter of liking. It is a matter of PMs, it's not completely working, breaks cache and is against QA. I ask the maintainer to find an alternative, non-disruptive solution or fix what Portage fails to determine (SLOT). Thanks, if you actually want to get something accomplished, help with Bug 174407. i'm not changing any of the USE=multislot packages as none of them cause problems. |
