I should add that this problem is occuring on two systems. Both are maintained as close to stable as I can manage. On one system there is no /etc/portage/package.keywords file and on the other the keywords file is very small. Please feel free to close this bug. Today I did a world update, which forced me to run python-updater. python-updater, in turn, caused a bunch of ebuilds to reinstall. I then did another world update, after which etc-proposals started wwworking. I have no idea which action corrected the problem, but I can no longer recreate it. Thanks Works for reporter |
