Include libpaper too. Disabled within FEATURES in /etc/make.conf ... simply stopping the rc-service or deleting .ccache doesn't help. In your 'emerge --info' output above, you missed one very important line on comp A: The first line that lists your profile, compiler version and glibc version. Please post the compiler and glibc versions installed on Comp A. Generally speaking, I believe it's pretty important for these to be identical to what you're using on Comp B for distcc to work properly. <shrugs> I wasn't even distributing via distccd. rc-service distccd stop I believe I had to remove the ccache & distcc values from FEATURE in order to avoid this compiler error with libpaper. Please set same CC Profile. check `gcc-config -l`. If you change CC Profile, don't forget to `source /etc/profile` and `/etc/init.d/distccd restart`. (In reply to comment #3) > <shrugs> I wasn't even distributing via distccd. > > rc-service distccd stop Which distccd did you stop, Comp A or B? Did you stop all distccd in `distcc-config --get-hosts`? I am closing this bug, it has been 4 months now with no new information. Please feel free to reopen if you are still experiencing the issue and can provide more information. |
