When installing bibutils from the existing ebuild (bibutils-3.40), no such source file exists on the server at www.scripps.edu.  

I was able to install bibutils by copying the existing ebuild in /usr/portage to /usr/local/portage/app-text/bibutils/bibtutils-4.2.ebuild and generating a digest.  

I don't know whether this works, or not.
