I'm sure it is -Os, since if I change just the -Os flag (leaving the others as 
they are) I have no segfaults on the applet. 
 
The applet is known as "System Montitor" applet under kicker menu. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. compile kdeaddons with -Os flag 
2. run "System Monitor" applet in kicker 
3. see it crashing		 
Actual Results:  
crash 

Expected Results:  
no crash

This bug doesn't seem to have attracted any attention for some time. In the mean time, KDE 3.1.4 has been released. Is this still a problem with the new version?
