Looks like a conflict between sys-apps/lm_sensors v2 and v3. I can reproduice the compilation error only with lm_sensors-2.10.7, so with the stable version. It's works perfectly with lm_sensors-2.10.8 or lm_sensors-3 (at least for me). Mhhh.. I'll have a look to it A small correction but it doesn't compile at all for libsensors-2, it compiles just using libsensors-3. The problem is lm_sensors-3 is masked, so we can't depend exclusively on it otherwises we need to mask hardware-monitor too. And we should depend on lm_sensors-3 stabilization (when it will be unmasked) to stabilize hardware-monitor, which finally it's bad and annoying. So we need seriously to fix it (using coditionnal compilation to include correct function calls with goods prototypes, and SENSORS_API_VERSION macro to detecting branch) Awesome ^^ + 22 Jul 2009; Romain Perier <mrpouet@gentoo.org> package.mask: + Builds only with >=sys-apps/lm_sensors-3 which is masked + 22 Jul 2009; Romain Perier <mrpouet@gentoo.org> hardware-monitor-1.4.2.ebuild: +Changed sys-apps/lm_sensors to >=sys-apps/lm_sensors-3 into RDEPEND lm_sensors-3 removed from package.mask, so hardware-sensors-1.4.2 has been too. See bugs: 244598 279423 moving to new maintainer. 1.4.3 builds fine |
