The latest version of the ECE/megapack ebuilds seem to use the new megapack download for both, presumably trying to save bandwidth. This causes a problem since the server and client no longer have the same maps installed.

It's been a few years since the last time I did a full install of UT2004 but everything was definitely there the first time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install ut2004 and every bonuspack that comes with it
2. Try to connect to a server running games-fps/ut2004-ded
3. Change map to ONS-Ascendancy or ONS-Aridoom

Actual Results:  
Get a half-hour wait while it downloads.

Expected Results:  
Server and client ebuilds should install the same files.

I looked around and found a download containing only the missing maps, I've stuck it in the URL field above.
