The problem you ask is a bit complex. The root problem is there is no clean upgrade path from 0.9.28 to current. Current uClibc will fail with gcc-4.4.0 uClibc requires gcc-4.x now. Hardened still uses gcc-3.x now. However the uClibc tinderbox is kept up to date in ~arch. But yep. uClibc is starting to die off. There seems to be a lack of interest from devs/users. complaining about the situation wont fix open bugs. people contributing will. |
