Or fix via downgrade to 6.0 This is true of the italic version too: n021024l.pfb These fonts claim to be 'medium' weight, but are bold. In the urw-fonts package the same fonts are installed, and the ones there are much more recent and do identify themselves as bold. The fonts in gnu-gs-fonts-std should either be updated (they date from 2002, while the urw-fonts are more recent) or eliminated. They cause misrenderings. gnu-gs-fonts-std and urw-fonts also overlap each other considerably. See also bug #256088 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 247657 *** |
