See summary. 0.9.25 now supports amd64, yet there is no ebuild for that version. I can confirm that building it manually works. Unfortunately, I'm not the kind of person to write an ebuild, so instead I submit a request for one.

Preliminary 0.9.25 ebuild

Some simple changes made from the 0.9.24 ebuild resulted in this. Works fine on my system.

Thanks, this is in the tree now, including the ~amd64 keyword as it's working nicely.
