Can you upgrade orbit again, and attach the full build.log like portage ask you to do it ? Because without any verbose messages about the compilation error, it may be difficult (or impossible if we're unable to reproduice it) to fix it. thanks Ok, It's gettin wierd. I did as you told me, and now libbonobo succeeded to intstall. But anyway, I've pointed out that there is stuff from the first try still in /var/tmp/portage The first thing I tried was to emerga again, and the second thing was to try to downgrade libbonobo to 2.24.0, which also failed. Then I dived into debugging, and noticed there was that idl compiler involved, so I tried to downgrade orbit, and reemrge libbonobo, which succeeded (with 2.24.1), so I still have the log from 2.24.0 here. I will attach that one. I will attach Created attachment 196115 [details]
