since 10.5 MB is quite a bit more than what bugs.gentoo.org allows for upload you can find the build log of the last attepmt at http://cnyk.ro/pfile/build.log It was built with the reduced flags: MAKEOPTS="-j1" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=core2 -mtune=core2 -pipe" If anyone can tell me how to tell portage to build ONLY openoffice with gcc-4.3 I'll post the results of that too. I know it's not a good ideea, I just want to be sure it's related to gcc-4.4 (or not) OOo 3.1.0 should build fine with gcc 4.4. Besides that: please lower your CFLAGS to something more generic and try again (which the ebuild also advices to do before filing a bug ;) ). Reopen if the bug prevails with generic CFLAGS. I've just rebuilt OOo 3.1.0. (as you know build takes 100000 years to complete :) ) How much more generic than "-O2 -pipe"? I'll try tonight with CFLAGS="". Besides that, installation fails NOT the build phase. (In reply to comment #5) > Besides that, installation fails NOT the build phase. > Yes, but in the install phase regcomp is called which notoriously hyper-sensible to overoptimization. Anyway: Reopening... (In reply to comment #6) > Yes, but in the install phase regcomp is called which notoriously > hyper-sensible to overoptimization. Anyway: Reopening... > Got it. I have already started a build with CFLAGS="". I'll let you know as soon as it finishes if it's a real bug or I'm an idiot (the later is more likely, but I had to ask) Created attachment 195582 [details]
build logs for the OOo package
Build finished. Same error.
I've put in the archive the complete logs (build.log + environment).
I'me moved my system to 64bit in the meantime. |
