it will work for a while then randomly start sucken 99% of my cpu cycles. .66-r4 works 
fine though.

please do no assign bugs to us if you are not certain those are our bugs, the gnome team doesn't handle gaim at all.

Problems like this are the domain of the gaim development team at http://gaim.sourceforge.net and not really a Gentoo-specific thing.  I've seen bugs like this on their bug tracker.

Closing this as CANTFIX.  I believe it's a gaim issue as there are numerous bugs for it on their tracker and the submitter has not followed up.
