Does it help if you emerge app-text/xmlto with USE latex? It should.. also if the ebuild is really using the latex it should include the VARTEXFONTS var as shown in e.g. libtheora's ebuild Reemerged like suggested and it emerged also a lot of tex packages ( 16 in all ) When that was done i tried again but this time the fail message is different : Writing ar01s13.html for sect1(licensing) This is pdfTeXk, Version 3.1415926-1.40.9 (Web2C 7.5.7) %&-line parsing enabled. entering extended mode (./tmp.fo LaTeX2e <2005/12/01> Babel <v3.8l> and hyphenation patterns for english, usenglishmax, dumylang, noh yphenation, loaded. xmltex version: 2002/06/25 v1.9 (Exp): (/usr/share/texmf-site/tex/xmltex/base/xmltex.cfg) No File: tmp.cfg (/usr/share/texmf-site/tex/xmltex/passivetex/fotex.xmt) (/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/article.cls Document Class: article 2005/09/16 v1.4f Standard LaTeX document class (/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/size10.clo)) (/usr/share/texmf-site/tex/xmltex/passivetex/fotex.sty make[1]: *** [doc/xfs-design.pdf] Error 1 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
