Attaching a patch to fix all kinds of issues wity the build system (like confusing CPPFLAGS with CXXFLAGS etc.)

Current version in tree does not build.

Oops, one thing. The patch has a typo s/NUMA/DUMA/. $(NUMA_OPTIONS)
should be $(DUMA_OPTIONS) of course, my bad..

In fact my ebuild and patch look quite ugly now that I look at them.., so let's just say "There's a new version out." and add it as you see fit :)
