The CUDA Visual Profiler is now shipped with the toolkit. The attached ebuild installs the CUDA Visual Profiler 2.2 including the qt4 libs (all into /opt/cuda/cudaprof/bin). Tested on x86 and amd64 platforms.

An alternative way is to install the profiler in nvidia-cuda-toolkit-2.2 (see Bug# 274095)

This ebuild installs the shipped binary versions of the qt4 libs (see also Bug# 255839).

Let's just follow the upstream packaging scheme and provide the profiler as a part of the toolkit.
