mirror.ovh.net is an official mirror, according to http://mirrorstat.gentoo.org
While the directory gentoo-distfiles seems up to date, the gentoo-portage is no longer updated since April 2009 :
$ wget http://mirror.ovh.net/gentoo-portage/metadata/timestamp
$ cat timestamp
Thu Apr  2 04:08:31 UTC 2009

Confirmed. The mirror-admin team has been understaffed so thanks for being patient.

I don't see them in the french rsync rotation. So, I'll have to dig deeper to see what their status is.
