Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.#screen
2.#links www.google.com
3."blank line appears and nothing else happens."



Expected Results:  
Links should start up and show the webpage.

Another detail I've forgot.

I'm using Putty via SSH to access the machine.
I guess it could have something to do with that?
