As in practice recruitment pushes happen in waves, I propose to structure the whole situation somewhat. Lets use this bug as a handle for all recruitment happening from now on. However rather than creating hundreds of links off this bug (in perspective) we can create a bug per each period, - lets call it draft - and link individual recruitment issues there. 

Other than linking recruitment bugs, draft bugs will also contain all the discussions pertinent to the corresponding period of recruitment, thus keeping this one small and readable. For example we just had couple of responces on the gentoo-science m and I am going to ask people who wanted to go through recruitment to "formally" state this in the bug I'll create shortly, plus all the mentors can reply there too..

I am linking a really old recruitment bug which, however, is still unresolved. It should be either closed, if nobody on it is active anymore, or its applicants should reapply to the currently active draft bug.

NOTE:
Please reply on the specific recruitment issue to the corresponding draft or recruitment bug, not here. Lets keep this bug for tracking and for overall organizational issues of recruitment.
