after upgrade to hal-0.5.12_rc6, powerdevil shows no battery when battery is working and indicates no cpu scaling capabilities.

Reproducible: Always

Do you have policykit/consolekit set on hal?

If so, you need to have consolekit running in your default runlevel.

If not, you need to be in the plugdev group.

thanks, I wasn't in plugdev group.
