Tim can you please consider resubmitting your ebuilds _not_ by using gems? There are quite a few problems with gems in Gentoo [1] & [2]; while it's not the easiest thing out there until I finish ruby-ng.eclass [3] it would still be helpful to do this the “hard” way.. Thanks!

I tried to clean up the ebuild for the new version a lot using the newer eclasses. Please have a look and tell me if anything should be changed or reworked.

Is there still any interest to get this into the tree? Please reply, otherwise the bug will be marked as WONTFIX in 30 days from now.

0.7.2 November 20, 2013 seems to be the recent version according to rubygems.
