I installed easytag-2.1.6 for the first time last week. I now notice that when clicking on GNOME 'Places' menu, Easytag opens instead of Nautilus. This is not the case for the volumes under 'Computer', etc.

I puzzled over how easytag could accomplish this misconfiguration with the installed files:

But perhaps the contents of easytag.desktop, specifically MimeType=x-directory/normal; might be the reason.

Easytag opens in many places where a nautilus window should

Nautilus opens when selecting favorites from the 'Places' menu.
