Though only mac-fdisk works for editing partions on mac systems cfdisk & fdisk 
are in /sbin on the 1.4 livecd (and possibly others) for some unknown reson

I think these come by default with sys-apps/fileutils. 

I can replace them with a symlink to mac-fdisk if you prefer that. I could
add a check to the fileutils ebuild that checks if the arch = ppc -> no need
to install/compile fdisk and cfdisk, but need to be absolutely sure nobody
is using fdisk or cfdisk for some dark reason on ppc.

I think that cfdisk and fdisk are useful if you are doing disk analisys/recovery and you have a dos partitioned disk. so there are some reason to have them.

I'd recommend leaving both fdisk and cfdisk untouched. Both are quite useful on non-macintosh systems or actually even on macintosh systems if you have a hard disk setup with a PC style partition table on the disk.

pSeries and iSeries ppc machines especially tend to have these!
