x86 stable Alpha is still waiting for the right kernel to move to xorg-1.5. Should we hold off this until then or will the current stable xorg-server et al for alpha keep working after stabling this? I don't have that hardware so I have no idea how it performs in respect to xorg 1.3, 1.4, etc... I would imagine that all the existing modules should be backward compatible, but there have been significant changes in drm upstream (for instance, intel is gone completely, or the XAA/EXA/UXA stuff) so it's probably best to defer and stick with what works for now. ia64 stable Stable on alpha. amd64 stable Marked ppc stable, closing since we're the last arch. |
