It really doesn't look like the patch is any good... Don't close the bug till it's been fixed in tree. The patch is quick'n'dirty thats is correct, but it works on my amd64 system with the new glibc 2.10.1. Open TTD plays music, aplaymidi too. Symbols prefixed with underscores are reserved for the C library, you should _not_ use underscore prefixes; rather call it awesfx_getline. Created attachment 191877 [details, diff]
