net-ftp/gftp-2.0.19 has been running just fine for a long time.
Now, suddenly it segfaults (logwdw_vadj is zero)

Did you rebuild gftp? If it still happens: Please provide "emerge -pvq gftp gtk+". Feel free to provide a meaningful backtrace  (See [1]).

The binary which caused the problem was built with Gentoo. For generating
the backtrace, I built it outside of portage with debugging options.

I've just recognized that on a different machine with nearly identical
hard- and software, gftp doesn't crash.
So, probably, I should trace the differences myself.

Having reinstalled some packages including gtk+ gftp now works again
without being recompiled.
