I have made many !! pictures.

So if i try to list or download it via gphoto2,
it's trowing an error:

gphoto2 -L
Es gibt keine Datei im Verzeichnis »/«.
Es gibt keine Datei im Verzeichnis »/store_00010001«.
Es gibt keine Datei im Verzeichnis »/store_00010001/DCIM«.
*** Fehler (-8: »Festes Limit überschritten.«) ***

After googling a bit, i have found that other distis 
have raised the fixed limit of 1024 to 8192.

Please se the URL for the Ubuntu bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make more than 1024 Pictures on a flash card with a digicam.
2. Try to download it via libgphoto2 (using gphoto2 or digikam)
3. See the error, and be unable to download the pictures of your hollidays.

Expected Results:  
List or Download all photos.

Please add the same patch like ubuntu to the stable & unstable ebuilds,
so i can download my pictures.

It was reported upstream in 2006, at https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1515453&group_id=8874&atid=108874
but although they claim they fixed it, their latest release (2.4.7) does not include the fix.
Other distros seem to just patch it, e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/libgphoto/+bug/144585

if upstream didn't fix it properly the first time, they need to be reminded, distros should not just patch it and forget about it.
