hmmm, it seems we're not the only two who have a couple of missing header files including sys/audioio.h [05:45:03] <freakabcd> hi all [05:45:25] <freakabcd> can someone tell me which osol package provides the devel headers for SUN audio ? [05:45:41] <freakabcd> <sys/audioio.h> is what i'm looking for [05:46:06] <jbk> SUNWhea ? [05:47:34] <freakabcd> jbk, how do you find out? is there a way to search for specific files and find which package(s) provide it? [05:47:43] <jbk> yes [05:47:45] <Triskelios> if you have the package installed, pkgchk -l -P [05:47:54] <jbk> or [05:47:58] <Triskelios> err, on sx/s10 [05:48:01] <jbk> if using opensolaris and not sxce [05:48:15] <jbk> pkg search -r audioio.h [05:48:15] <jbk> iirc well, for my system: pkg search -r audioio.h INDEX ACTION VALUE PACKAGE basename file usr/include/sys/audioio.h pkg:/SUNWaudh@0.5.11-0.111 installing it makes the package compile nicely. I added a hint to the die message for this, not much we can do about this.
