Lets start with a basic question: what's that 'local' bit in /usr/local/include/ass/ass.h ? If there's anything in /usr/local/include, it will eventually mess up the build of something. Solution: reemerge libass (currently at 0.9.5), and remove the /usr/local/include/ass/ directory. Previous versions of libass were installed there, but somehow the directory didn't get removed. The new libass correctly install the include files in /usr/include. Then, reemerge gst-plugins-bad. It compiles just fine. Works. Thanks |
