app-text/ghostscript-gpl can use svg surface
dev-cpp/cairomm can use svg/xlib/glitz surfaces
dev-python/pycairo can use svg surface
gnome-base/gnome-panel uses cairo_xlib_surface_create, so it needs cairo[X] dep
media-gfx/graphviz can use xlib surface
x11-libs/pango needs cairo's xlib surface for pango-view (as I understand)

Please file a bug for every single package. This is the best way to get it done.

Note that the "correct" fix for these problems is to have a check in autofoo as well.

All the dependencies were fixed. This tracker can be closed as well.
