after emerge net-ftp/vsftpd-2.1.0,
the ftp is not working anymore.
i can connect but the connection is reset directly after connect.
stepping back to  net-ftp/vsftpd-2.0.7-r1  and all works fine.

any1 can confimr this ?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-ftp/vsftpd-2.1.0  - FTP dont work anymore.
2. emerge net-ftp/vsftpd-2.0.7-r1 - FTP works again

no. doesn´t help. on my config is liste=NO , cause i use with xinetd

Strange. Because in my case it did help. Maybe you did the typo (missing 'n' in 'listen=NO') not only here but also in the config file?

Marko, could you try with vsftpd-2.2. It works fine here.

And if 2.2 does not work for you, please, attach vsftpd config here.

I found later out why it doesnt worked.
When i added the PASV PORTS i set in vsftpd.conf to my Shorewall Rules all gone fine.

Wired. in Versions before i dont had to do this.

Now i work with 2.2.0 on gentoo , all fine here
