Bug 269185

Summary: [kde-testing] akonadi-server-1.1.85 requires qt 4.5.0
Product: Gentoo Linux Reporter: Tanktalus
Component: [OLD] KDEAssignee: Gentoo KDE team <kde>
Status: RESOLVED INVALID
Severity: normal
Priority: High
Version: 2008.0
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Whiteboard:
Package list:
Runtime testing required: ---

Description Tanktalus 2009-05-09 22:54:04 UTC
During an emerge of this level from kde-testing, I get the following error message:

CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindQt4.cmake:1367 (MESSAGE):
The installed Qt version 4.4.2 is too old, at least version 4.5.0 is
  required

No big deal, I just changed my keyword to <=app-office/akonadi-server-1.1.50, and all is well since I don't want to upgrade qt on that machine yet. However, the DEPENDS for this ebuild probably should specify qt 4.5.0 as the minimum to get the error to happen earlier in the emerge process.

Thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Not a bug.
All kde 4.3 need 4.5.0 qt.
Will be updated next week along with stabling 4.5.1

In that case, the kde-4.2 package.keywords file in the kde-testing overlay should probably not include this package (i.e., anything less), since this version is apparently part of kde 4.3, not 4.2.

all kde 4.3 items needed qt-4.5.*
