Installing alacarte last stable version with pygobect last stable version installed fails whith this configure message.

checking for pygobject 2.15.1 installed for python required_python_abi... not found
configure: error: required pygobject version not found


And the system has pygobjetc 2.16.1 installed (last stable version)

Reproducible: Always

1.emerge alacarte

Have you recently updated Python? Can you try running python-updater and rebuilding alacarte?

Do you have dev-python/pygtk installed?

I fix it updating from python 2.5 to 2.6, before i executed python-updater and all works again.

I think the problem comes from a broken python-updater two or tree weeks ago (I found it in the logs), sorry for wasting your time guys.
