when running with 2.6.29-gentoo-r1 kernel, I observe irregular failure of USB
ports at an ACER docking station, sometimes it happens just 3 minutes after bootup, sometimes 2 days after bootup.

The hardware connected seems all correct and previous kernels
did not complain, I did use it for a very long time with
2.6.27-r4. When using this kernel now, I did not observe this
behavior. 
Unfortunately, the problem might be rather hardware-specific and
difficult to reproduce.

Steps to Reproduce:
0. get an ACER travelmate 8200 laptop and acer docking station
1. emerge gentoo-sources-2.6.29-r1 and compile the kernel
2. boot the kernel
3. wait a while

Actual Results:  
USB ports at the docking station are powered off

Expected Results:  
all USB ports active
