This should also be put in the portage tree, an the ebuild should be modified
to copy this instead.
Comment 4 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-08 21:22:48 UTC
The author of this package has made an ebuild for version 1.1.3 on his website.

Only changes that need to be made:
-copyright header to 2004 Gentoo Foundation
-net-smnp depend needs to be 5.0.9 or greater
-unnecessary    perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=${D}/usr || die in src_install()

Otherwise the author's ebuild looks good.
Comment 5 Abraham Smith 2005-08-04 06:18:19 UTC
It's really absurd that the author's ebuilds haven't been incorporated into the
tree yet. They are perfectly fine, and he is very receptive to requests and bug
reports (as I know from personal experience). Someone please push this into the
tree. See http://woogie.net/projects/linksysmon/
Comment 6 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-02 14:03:00 UTC
According to the homepage, development of this project is over. Reopen if someone takes over.

Closing WONTFIX, sorry.
