The new stable release of the Scala programming language distribution, Scala 2.7.4 final, has been released.

This new version is a maintenance release; several bugs have been fixed.

Please, update portage.

I have just created the gentoo tar ball and put it on the mirrors.  Will have to wait for it to actually hit the mirrors before I can commit the ebuild.  Will try do it in about 5 hours.
