Ah. I just noticed that some information was missing from my previous emerge --info. I re-ran emerge --regen (There are some eclasses being overridden in the kde-testing layman overlay that seem to muck things up.). That fixes it
This is a hal bug. Fixed in hal-0.5.12_rc1-r2. It is still spamming: dbus-daemon: Rejected send message, 1 matched rules; type="method_call", sender=":1.8" (uid=0 pid=3794 comm="/usr/sbin/NetworkManager --pid-file /var/run/Netwo") interface="org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.KillSwitch" member="GetPower" error name="(unset)" requested_reply=0 destination="org.freedesktop.Hal" (uid=0 pid=3622 comm="/usr/sbin/hald --use-syslog --verbose=no ")) to syslog. I'm using: NetworkManager-0.7.1-r4 dbus-1.2.12 hal-0.5.12_rc1-r6 Can this be reopened? Different issue, different bug. You want bug #273907 |
