attached is an ebuild script for the ksplash-ml addon to kde3, 
It's almost completly a ripoff off the mosfet-liquid ebuild script, 
tested on a fresh gentoo install using the 1.1a state1 iso 
worked flawlessly for me, I added it under x11-misc (again as mosfet-liquid) 
it depends on kde-3.0 (obviously :-)
