the soundcard es1371 is listed in the official alsa-driver list on the web (to
which the doc of gentoo refers). When compiling a new alsa driver specifying env
'ALSA_CARD'=es1371 as said in the documentation, the driver won't compile,
reporting that it does not support es1371 (which is a 16 Bit soundblaster).

that's becasuse the driver is 'ens1371' :)
